FIRST ANNUAL SPECIES CLASSIC!!!

Full year tournament involving all local freshwater species

Tournament will be live from the first Saturday in May until April 1^st the following year

Tournament will be based on length of fish not weight

You can choose as many categories/species you would like to compete in, could be all of them or just 1 or 2!

5$ per species

Photo-proof will be required next to a tape measure (leading fish will be posted on a blog which I will be creating and each new leader will leap frog the previous leader leaving a timeline of catches throughout the season! And you can always see the status of the tourney on the internet

Only photos next to a tape measure submitted will count, preferably one of the guy holding the fish too

This will be meant to be a fun mild hearted competition as the pots will not be very big

This is basically just our group of friends or extended friends and family can be involved if they want to get a little bit bigger pots, extra forms will be provided you can copy them give them out etc.

The winner of each category will of course win that pot at the end of the year but more importantly be crowned king of that species until potentially dethroned the next year (No more wondering who the best Bass fisherman or Pike or Trout fisherman is for that year HAHA)

If a big fish is caught with teamwork like a tip-up pot can be split and have co-leaders is fine

Ok so now I just whipped this thing together to see if you guys want to do this, we are going to need pretty much everyone on board to make this worthwhile

I am open to feedback and ideas but just to simplify it I am going to have these be the official tournament rules for now

If we think of other rules as the season goes on the blog will be updated and we can just talk about it

Enclosed with this form is the actual species sign up form with all the species you would like to compete with this year, you must commit to species before tourney starts.

I will just ask that you fill out the form and return it to me by the first Saturday in MAY and just pay me the respective amount of money sometime before the end of the tourney which will be April 1^st, 2014

Simply circle all of the fish species you will be competing for this year you must submit it to me by May 4^th 2013 and pay me by the end of the tourney April 1^st 2014.
